Psychology of Gender
This course provides an overview and analysis of psychological research on gender. Emphases include the origins and consequences of gender stereotypes as well as sex differences and similarities in cognition, personality, and social behavior. Other topics include leadership and career success, masculinity, sexuality and partnering, prosocial and antisocial behavior, and mental health and happiness. The course is also designed to give students structured experience in analysis and writing.
