Jasmine Tucker

Jasmine comes to us most immediately from the law offices of Robin Potter & Associates, where she served as a legal secretary.  Robin Potter & Associates specializes in labor law and has done a significant amount of work with the Chicago Public School System. In addition, Jasmine worked previously at the Partnership to Educate and Advance Kids in Chicago and as an intern in the Columbus, Ohio congressional office of Representative Joyce Beatty.

Jasmine earned her BA at Howard University, where she was a Gates Millennium Scholar and majored in Sociology and minored in Afro-American Studies. She completed her Master’s Degree in Cultural and Educational Policy at Loyola University Chicago in June 2015. 

Jasmine is a servant leader in the Chicagoland area. She is a third year mentor with Chicago Scholars and was nominated for the 2016 Mentor of the Year Award. She is a member of the Metropolitan Board of the Chicago Urban League and the Howard University Alumni Club of Chicago and every month she devotes her time to volunteering with Deborah's Place and Illinois Council Against Handgun Violence. Lastly, Jasmine is a Co-Chair of the AIDS Foundation of Chicago Associate Board where she devotes time fundraising, event planning, and volunteering for major events including the AFC Gala, AFC Walk/Run, and the Annual World of Chocolate.
